Find a good place

Unlike the Pelican below, many of us spend years discovering just where we belong. Your pilgrimage has brought you here because you sense that there should be more to modern life than our current system affords.

Meet Steve Moreau

Welcome to Farmfreshdirect2U.com. As the name implies we are about fresh wholesome food as Mother Nature intended. Steve Moreau

I am Steve Moreau, licensed in the state of Florida as an Acupuncture Physician.

Now you may be wondering what is a physician doing talking about farming? Well, it should come as no surprise that what we eat can have a profound effect on our health status.

This connection was made evident to me over 3 years ago as I made a gut-wrenching life changing decision. I had been a committed vegetarian for 5 years and felt OK but I still did not have the vibrant health promised by this lifestyle. In fact there were some minor health issues and seasonal colds and flu that would have me down for days at a time each winter season.

Change came to me as I entered my Chinese medical training. Traditional Chinese medicine teaches balance and moderation as central to maintaining health. With this new mindset I was open when a friend of mine introduced me to the work of Dr. Weston A. Price.

His seminal work is " Nutrition and Physical Degeneration" and documents the vibrant health of people eating various traditional diets. Viewing the pictures contained in the book was enough to convince me that some major change was forthcoming.

A search was begun in earnest for the types of real foods which characterized their diets. Not long after I came across the Weston A. Price Foundation and was introduced to their chapter system. The chapters serve as an information clearinghouse for where these foods may be found.

I was directed to a farm about 2 hours south of me. My first venture to source farm fresh food was a lesson. How utterly ignorant and disconnected I was from real food.

Real food comes from nature and is minimally processed. After my first meal of roasted chicken I have not looked back. It did not take long for me to notice very visible positive changes in my health. My energy levels and stamina shot through the roof and no more seasonal colds or flu.

My classmates also noticed the changes as well. As the months passed I visited the farm about twice a month to source my food and became interested in their old-fashioned methods and know-how. I wanted to learn the ins and outs of real food so I decided help out during my time off from school. In time this turned into a part-time apprenticeship, and the lessons were many and varied.

With the progression of time I became a WAPF chapter leader myself and started to bring food back to some of my friends and classmates. Their stories of healing and transformation from real foods have been most gratifying. Steve Moreau

Fast forward to today. I am now out of school and these foods are a vital part of my practice. I combine the lessons from both the classroom and the farm to give my patients a unique approach to health and healing. I hold a deep passion for these foods and for that reason I source from reputable, known and trusted farms.

I stand by these foods and my sources, if you are dissatisfied in any way I am only a phone call or e-mail away.
