I love Chipotle for their commitment to serving high quality beef, chicken and pork. They make a point to source from as many local producers as possible. I think that in the future they will have all grass-fed beef, and source from all small farms.

That is really cool Steve! I had no idea Chipotle got pork from Joel Salatin’s Polyface farm! Actually hadn’t tried the pork burrito at Chipotle… but will definitely give it a try now!
That part is good, but Chipotle still has a ways to go on the tomato/farm worker issue.

I agree farm workers are in need of protection. Chipotle going local is only a start. We need much more reform from the bottom up to make foods such as raw milk, non- confinement meat, grass fed beef available. Stay tuned!
COOL! Oprah has Chipotle and PolyFace Farms on her show today!!! Oprah hopefully is finally getting on the fresh farm food bandwagon! I wonder in Joel Salatin will be on? Or is it just going to be the owner of Chipotle? We are putting it on the DVR and will be sure to watch it tonight!
